Façade Grant
About
The DWDA Facade Grant Program is an initiative to support property and business owners in Downtown Waycross Georgia, by providing funding to improve the exteriors of their buildings. The goal is to enhance the visual appeal of the community, increase property values, and support local businesses. The proposed idea/project must have a significant impact on the downtown streetscape. Priority may be given to buildings that are historically or architecturally significant, or visually prominent and in need of repair.
This is a matching grant which means if awarded, the funds received will be 50% of the proposal amount. For example, if your project costs $1,000, you can apply for the grant and if selected, be awarded $500. The maximum amount awarded is $1,000.
Facade improvement must meet all current codes and be executed by licensed contractors or businesses.
